Lose Control with intro beats
Cary has loved musical theater since she can remember. She got involved in her first show at the age of 8, and graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic academy in 2005, where she received extensive training in voice, dance, and drama. She has worked as a resident artist at the Seacoast Repertory Theater in Portsmouth, NH, as well as numerous professional theaters in Boston, MA. She made her New York City theater debut in the off Broadway musical "One of the Boys" in 2008. Since then, she has performed in numerous concerts and musicals in NYC, including the premiere of "Ryan, a new musical", and the "Underground Jazz" concert series in their tribute to the Beatles. Cary created the musical theater summer program for the Wellesley Public Schools elementary summer school program, WINGS, as well as creating classes in both improv and voice. For the past two summers, she has worked as an assistant for the Weston Drama Workshop program in MA, integrating special needs students and musical theater, creating an adaptive program in which performers of all abilities can pursue their musical theater goals. Cary is thrilled to be working, once again, in an environment where she can work with creative young minds to put together an expressive and fun piece of theater to be enjoyed by all.
