Brooklyn - Musical Theater
This exciting class brings together singing, dancing, and acting as we stage a full scale musical! We perform the show on stage and in costume at the end of the year on June 10, 2012 at Brooklyn Friends School. Musical: Wizard of Oz! This semester will involve putting together the full production of the Wizard of Oz including giving out parts, learning lines, directing the show, and performing. The semester requires focus and dedication to working as a supportive team toward the common goal of putting on a great show. Director/Choreographer Cary and Music Director Bigad are excited to direct this wonderful show with the actors!
The students will be given a script the second week of class. They will need to bring their script every week to class.
Each student will be measured for their costume in January in class by our costume designer Shauna. Costume fittings will take place as the show gets closer.

(No class Feb 22 and April 11)
Class takes place at Area Yoga in Brooklyn. 100 First Place (at Court Street) buzzer #1.
Class fee: $704
Costume fee: $45
