Winter Share - January 25, 2006

Our winter sharing show at the Micro Museum was a wonderful display of what we had learned so far during the dance year. Each class danced one piece and Touring Company performed two pieces. Before each dance, the entire class explained what they were going to do and what they learned about that particular Broadway choreography. Several of the students demonstrated moves that were within the piece.

The dances performed were "Cool" from West Side Story (Monday class), "Reggae Lions" (a mix of Hakuna Matata and Three LIttle Birds from Shark Tale from the Tuesday class), "Mama Hair" (a mix of songs from Hairspray and Hair by
the Wednesday class), Fosse's "Blackbird" (Thursday class), All Shook Up's "Come on Everybody," and Rent's "Will I" from Touring Company. The show was a big hit!
