Shari Polis started UpBring Dance Company on September 11, 2001, after realizing her purpose in life. UpBring started with 2 classes a week of 40 students each crammed into one studio. UpBring now offers Performance Dance, Musical Theater, Toddler Dance, Baby Dance, and Hip Hop. UpBring teaches to a very wide variety of music that matches the theme of the year. The 2010-2011 theme will be announced soon!

UpBring focuses on the enjoyment of dance, while teaching technique along the way. We love encouraging creativity and choreography from the dancers; many dancers help create moves and ideas for the pieces you see on the stage! Our music choices lend themselves to a creative environment. Hip hop music, popular show tunes, current pop music, and classic oldies quickly become dancer favorites, especially since we give the dancers a free cd of their dance music to take home and to which they dance around the kitchen with their families.
