Tyroni L. Bradley was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. His love and talent for the arts began at the age of 15 when he began writing poetry and lyrics for music. By the age of 18, he expanded his talents to include visual arts and DJing. He attended New York University and in 2000, he began writing lyrics for emerging artists at Universal Music Group and his own label New Wave Entertainment.

Tyroni, having worked with artists and DJs, was exposed to dance for years. In 2005, he was recruited to join Eklectik, a six-person dance crew specializing in hip hop. Eklectik performed at various venues and universities including City Tech.

In 2006, Eklectik was disbanded and Tyroni founded The Network of Dance with former members of Eklectik. The Network of Dance is a non-profit organization representing models, dancers, and dance ensembles throughout the New York City area. Under the Network of Dance, Tyroni directed and choreographed for the Network Dance Group, a crew under the larger organization of similar title. By 2007, The Network Dance Group reached 12 members. The Network crew has performed at over 40 shows and competitions; and members of The Network have been featured in music videos, stage performances, and on tour.

In 2008, Tyroni was invited to work with Upbring as a choreographer. His routine was performed by Touring Company in the June 2008 show.

Tyroni specializes in hip hop and street jazz and joins Upbring in Fall 2008 as our Boys Hip Hop dance instructor. He will also continue to co-choreograph for Touring Company alongside Shari and Shana.
